Innovation Search Engine: Identifying Innovation Potentials

8. December 2023, 11:00–13:00

Webinar

Join us for our third of a series of virtual AURORA ‘In conversation with...’ style events, where we will hear from various expert speakers across AURORA institutions, with their perspectives about R&I issues and challenges that are currently topical and relevant.

Arman Arzani, University of Duisburg-Essen, will present his work on the Innovation Search Engine, a web-based tool for research and innovation managers to identify innovation and collaboration opportunities based on the analysis of scientific publications, patents and industry reports. This is made possible through the automated analysis of complex data from the university's own databases and external information sources. The goal is to make screening and scouting of innovations and people much more efficient.
