Children allowed!
School's closed, university opens...
The Rector of Palacký University in Olomouc signed the Declaration of support for the policy of reconciliation of private and professional life at Palacký University in Olomouc(in Czech). On this occasion, we want to open the university to children of parents employed at UP.
For children who have Easter holidays on that day, a leisure programme is prepared in the Fort Science, AC Baluo and the UP Library. Afterwards, children can visit their parents' workplace and have lunch in the canteen. After lunch, parents and children can go home and work from home for the rest of the day.*
* Afternoon work from home must be subject to the approval of the supervisor and applies to those positions whose job description allows.

How did they dress and what animals did they see? We'll find out the answers to all these questions as we journey back to the hard stone age together!
Accompanying programme in the creative workshop
During the accompanying programme we will go on an adventurous journey through a prehistoric cave gallery, which will introduce us to the everyday life of the people of that time. We will not only get a closer look at the mammoth, but also at the giant moose or the woolly rhinoceros.

In conjunction with our exhibits, they will try to decipher the encrypted messages and gain a lot of experience in different ciphers and codes.
Accompanying programme in the creative workshop
