There are more than 160 students and employees from Ukraine presently at Palacký University; many of whom have found themselves in unmanageable situations due to the Russian aggression in Ukraine. They live, study, and work here with us; they are members of our university community, and now they need our help. Many of them are now finding themselves without financial means or the support of their families, at the same time trying to surmount difficulties in managing their school, work, and even volunteering activities.
Thus we are announcing a public collection: “Financial support for Palacký University students and employees affected by the conflict in Ukraine”, from which – thanks to you – we will give humanitarian support requested by Palacký University students and employees.

How will the money be distributed to those in need?
Applications for contributions from this source are currently suspended due to the depletion of funds in the fundraising account.
UP students and employees who are Ukrainian nationals affected by the entry of Russian Federation troops into Ukraine and who need help can apply for support from the public fund via completing a form. Funds will be then disbursed in the form of a contribution from the public fund.
Palacký University is helping students and employees affected by the war in Ukraine by various means. It has already offered students a one-time special stipend in the amount of CZK 10,000; offered employees interest-free loans; and is also offering them other forms of non-financial aid.
