Upon Arrival - Visa Holders
Long-term Visa Holders
Upon arrival in Olomouc, it is necessary for students to notify the relevant authorities of their arrival. In certain cases, it is mandatory to inform the Foreign Police about the arrival.
If a student stays in private accommodation, it is mandatory for them to report their arrival to the Foreign Police in Olomouc within 30 days. However, if a student stays in a dormitory or hotel, the responsibility for reporting the arrival shifts to the dormitory or hotel representatives (meaning there is no need for the student to report their arrival if they are accommodated in a dormitory or hotel).
Here's how to report the arrival to the Foreign Police:
- Visit the Foreign Police (Cizinecká policie) in Olomouc and register your arrival.
- Remember to bring your identification documents, such as your personal identification card or passport.
