Dear employees,

Summer has been here for almost a week now and the holidays are just around the corner. We would therefore like to join the wishes of Rector Martin Procházka (in Czech). We also wish you to enjoy the summer months and long days as much as possible and recharge your batteries for the next academic year. But the university does not sleep in July and August either – apart from the normal operations, it is being built, reconstructed and repaired, reorganized or painted. It's busy where graduation ceremonies are held. The premises of the UP also come alive with suburban camps (in Czech) and summer schools, which attract people from all over the Czech Republic and the world to Olomouc.

That is why we will continue to prepare a bi-weekly university newsletter with up-to-date information, interesting tips or opportunities for the new semester and the whole academic year.
