At the management meetings (31 July and 7 August), new projects of the OP JAK or the new position of the counter-influence security officer were discussed. Would you like to volunteer, but somehow still haven't gotten around to it? You can give it a try with no worries and no commitments on Tuesday 8 October. After last year's successful premiere (see how it went (in Czech)), the UP Volunteer Centre is preparing another Employee Volunteer Day (in Czech). It will focus on tree planting and maintenance of greenery and public space in Olomouc and the region. More information and registration for volunteer activities can be found on the website (in Czech) (capacity is limited). The Human Resources Management Department of RUP is preparing a Health Day for Palacký University employees this year. On Wednesday, 11 September, it will offer a number of free examinations and consultations as part of health prevention. The programme and registration will be published in the following days.

The UP Project Service (in Czech) assists all interested parties from the university with applying for grants and searching for funding opportunities. It provides project support across international, national and internal grant schemes. It also publishes a monthly e-newsletter with information on news and calls for projects. NEW STANDARDS

• Rector's leave on 8 October 2024
  This internal standard of UP, effective from 8 August 2024, (in Czech) is intended for employees working at the Rector's Office, the Centre for Computer Technology, the Library, the Publishing House, the Academic Sports Centre, the Science and Technology Park, the Project Service, the Administration of UP Dormitories and Canteens, and the UP Centre for Support of Students with Specific Needs. The Rector hereby grants Rector's leave to actively participate in volunteer activities within the framework of the Employee Volunteer Day.
  
  

   

• Research data management at UP
  This UP internal standard, effective as of 8 August 2024, (in Czech) is intended for all UP employees involved in the management of research data that are part of research conducted at the University, regardless of physical location or funding source. The purpose of this Internal Standard is to establish the principles and requirements related to research data management and to define the roles and responsibilities of the University and its employees in managing research data.
  
  

   

• Accommodation scholarships at UP for the period October-December 2024
  This internal UP standard, effective from 22 August 2024, (in Czech) is intended mainly for UP students and other UP employees. It sets the amount of the accommodation grant for the period October-December 2024.

All UP norms, including the ineffective ones, divided by UP units, with the possibility of filtering and searching in them can be found by students and employees of UP after logging in to files.upol.cz.
