Opening of the photographic exhibition

The photographic exhibition by world-renowned photographer Antonio Cossa and talented aspiring photographer Monika Dražilová offers an intimate insight into the everyday life of children with albinism in Zambia. The exhibition thematises their inner world in the midst of the oppressive social reality, their experience of social stigmatisation, discrimination, segregation, feeling of solitude and pervasive fear. The exhibition also offers an escape from this painful reality by means of artistic portraits that give the individuals denied dignity, inner strength and determination to fight injustices in their life.
