Leture by David Hutt

We invite you to a lecture on Op-ed writing delivered by David Hutt, a journalist who focuses on Southeast Asian politics, Europe-Asia relations, and New Cold War geopolitics. David Hutt is also “Southeast Asia Columnist” for the Diplomat and a correspondent for Asia Times.

In this lecture, you will learn how to craft clear, engaging, and powerful opinion pieces for newspapers and magazines. You'll learn tips on dealing with editors, editing and refining your writing, and dealing with criticism. We will also discuss the process of approaching the relevant media.

The lecture is organized as part of the EUVIP PhD workshop.
