Prospective Erasmus+ projects: innovating for the future of education

Wednesday 5 March 2025, 6:52

The Erasmus+ programme introduces Prospective Projects, large-scale initiatives aimed at identifying, developing, testing and evaluating innovative approaches in education and training. These projects have the potential to become part of mainstream practice and thus improve education systems across Europe.

The aim is to promote innovation in education, training and youth. These projects focus on forward-looking ideas that respond to key European priorities and support projects that either introduce new methods and practices or ensure the transfer of innovation between different countries, policy sectors or target groups.

Projects are expected to involve mixed partnerships of public and private organisations. This includes researchers, practitioners and partners able to reach out to policy makers.

Priority areas for 2025:

  • School education: improving basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, science and digital literacy.
  • Vocational education and training: Promoting an environment for excellence at national and/or regional level.
  • Adult education:
  • Promoting lifelong learning and skills development.
  • Digital learning: Supporting digital transformation in education.

The closing date for the submission of applications for this call is 27 May 2025.
