The year 2025 marks a significant step forward in the development of competencies essential for today’s job market. With many students preparing to transition from their studies into the workforce, the Welcome Office recognizes the importance of providing targeted support and guidance.

On March 26, nearly 30 international students attended workshop by Mgr. Vladislava Závrská, Ph.D. Workforce Orientation: Discover Your Professional Talents, designed to help them identify and harness their unique talents for a successful professional journey.

In this interactive session, students were encouraged to explore what they excel at, discover their personal “superpowers,” and learn how to use them to achieve their goals. The workshop emphasized that understanding one’s own talents is a cornerstone of career success, it boosts self-confidence, increases motivation, and helps make informed career decisions.

Participants also learned how to communicate their strengths effectively, build meaningful professional relationships, and remain flexible and resilient in a dynamic job market. The session provided practical strategies to enhance both professional satisfaction and personal fulfillment.

"It was actually amazing. I learned a lot of things and discovered a lot about my personality. We took a personality test and explored what we should learn and take away from our day-to-day activities. It helped us understand what to do in the future by using our uniqueness and problem-solving skills to achieve more in life." – Workshop Participant

Given the strong interest in the event, we are planning to offer more workshops throughout the semester to continue supporting international students on their career paths.

"I really enjoyed the opportunity and would like to thank all of you for the lecture. I also want to encourage other students to take part in such amazing opportunities." – Workshop Participant
