Workshop CŽV v rámci kurzů MeDiGram - mediální a digitální gramotnosti pro pedagogické pracovníky
We look at how podcasts can be used to support language and history teaching, working from the podcasts In Their Own Words, A Stitch in Time and No Night So Dark, all of which are connected with Czech history over the last hundred years. The podcast No Night So Dark exists in both an English and a Czech version (Není noci tak tmavé). There is also a catalogue available in Czech, English and German from the author's recent exhibition inspired by the podcast, which tells the story of a Czech Jewish family and includes a remarkable play written and illustrated by two teenage members of the family in Prague in 1938. The play has been published in a trilingual Czech, English and German edition. There is a multimedia online version of the exhibition in Czech and English.
