On Friday 20.10.2023, our colleagues from the Department of International Cooperation took part in the first Volunteer Day for employees of Palacký University. It was organized by the Volunteering Centre of Palacký University. It was devoted to sustainibility, climate improvement, tree planting and cleaning.
Under the guidance of Flora Olomouc workers, we tried to prepare the flowerbeds for winter in the adjacent park. This action was a great success thanks to the enthusiastic volunteers and nice and sunny weather.
Not only Flora Olomouc was the target of several dozen volunteers. Other participants took care of the planting and maintenance of greenery in the villages of Mírov and Mutkov, in the ZOO Olomouc or Hospice Svatý Kopeček.
