Choose from a wide range of Palacký University Academic Week events and take advantage of free weekend passes to the Fort Science and the Museum of Art.
The UP Academic Week annually commemorates the re-establishment of Palacký University in Olomouc in 1946, when the bells of all Olomouc churches pealed on February 21 to celebrate this event. On Wednesday at 3 pm, the bells of St Moritz, St Michael, and St Wenceslas churches will ring out again.
During the weekend (24 th and 25 th February), Palacký University employees and students may take advantage of free admission to the Fort Science (one ticket to four exhibitions with an employee card or student ISIC card) and to the Olomouc Museum of Art (with an employee card or student ISIC card).
Tickets for the Palacký University Ball with a rich buffet and raffle are still on sale. Martin Kumžák's Moondance Orchestra will play for dancing and listening.
